Baby is a Food Machine

So I don’t know if Nova is growing through a growth spurt, but she’s been eating like nobody’s business.  I had gotten a big thing of blueberries and she was eating them like they were manna.  Leif was doling them out one at a time, cutting each one in half (they were big ones).  I could tell that she was getting frustrated with him, and told him he should just give her a bunch.  He didn’t believe me, but he did it.  When she had a pile she settled down and made mincemeat out of them.  And then we gave her a new pile, repeat.

They said at daycare she actually spent the day in the toddler room, though she’s only 10 months.  I think her time around her older sister had made her want to hang with the big kids.  🙂

And also, Leif went to parent-teacher conferences today with Rowan.  She is doing awesome!  It was short meeting, the teacher said that when it’s all good news, there’s not much to discuss.  Her spelling is great, she’s reading, she’s doing well with math, gets along with pretty much everyone in class and is well behaved.  She’s one of the best students in class.  Well, whaddya know?  I’m pretty proud.  🙂
