Yep, it’s that time of year again, November blogging month.  I figured it would be good for my writing to practice it every day, heh.

Leif is done with his part in his sister’s movie, 2012: Devolution.  I don’t know when it will be out, my guess would be not for another year or so, as editing a movie is a bit of a complex project.   So guess what that means?  Oh yeah, time for him to look for a job.  Doesn’t have a be a full time job at this point, but he might as well get started, because it will probably take awhile.  Of course, he should probably get well first.

This was another Sunday with my husband out of commission and me thinking that for a pregnant woman, I don’t get a lot of breaks.  Let’s see, we’ve had two visits to the emergency room in October (both due to the gall bladder but now we know what it is), he’s been gone a lot for the movie, and today he was sick.  Rowan’s been sick since Thursday and now he’s caught it–I’m hoping it’s not H1N1 because yippee I have a shot scheduled for Wednesday.

Which honestly, all the fear mongering is getting a bit annoying.  Yes, I am pregnant.  Yes, other pregnant women have died from the H1N1.  However, I haven’t had the flu in years and let’s be frank, statistically I’m more likely to die driving my car every day.  But that doesn’t sell papers.  And every time I talk to my mother or my monther-in-law, they have to ask “Have you had the shot yet?” “Have you had the shot yet?”

Of course, I’m still drinking coffee and have not completely abstained from dyeing my hair either, so you can see how reckless I am right there.  However, I do take my prenatal vitamin, and calcium, and magnesium,  and my fish oil, and now iron as well.  But then the iron binds me up so I am also self-medicating by eating dried apricots because good lord, I’m just not ready for the metamucil quite yet.

All in all, it’s been probably the best pregnancy I’ve had.
